Founded by Simon Cooper in 2004 from a terraced house in Macclesfield, On the Beach has evolved from short haul beach destination to also offer long haul and premium beach holidays and city breaks. We’re proud that more people than ever are trusting us with their holidays and in 2024 we sent 1.7 million happy, ATOL-protected customers on their perfect package holiday.

We’re independent, agile and have no fixed ties to airlines or hotels. This means that we can offer choice, value and flexibility to our customers. Our model is customer-centric, asset-light, profitable and cash generative. Our innovative technology, low-cost base and strong customer-value proposition means we are well placed to provide a structural challenge to legacy tour operators, as we continue to disrupt the retail of package holidays.
